Day 1: Arrival in Maun

Day 2: Maun to Nxai Pan National Park
MorningDepart Maun after breakfast (approx. 3-4 hour drive to Nxai Pan, depending on road conditions and stops). Arrive at Nxai Pan National Park, known for its vast open plains, fossil pans, and iconic Baines’ Baobabs.

Sundowner drinks and dinner under the stars at the camp. Overnight in Nxai Pan.

Day 3: Full Day in Nxai Pan National Park
MorningEarly game drive to catch active wildlife during cooler hours. Explore the pan’s grasslands and waterholes, where you might see elephants, giraffes, or migratory herds (season-dependent).

Day 4: Nxai Pan to Makgadikgadi National Park
MorningAfter breakfast, depart Nxai Pan for Makgadikgadi National Park (approx. 2-3 hour drive). Arrive at Makgadikgadi, famous for its vast salt pans, dramatic landscapes, and seasonal zebra migrations. Check into a mobile camp or lodge

Game drive along the Boteti River or pan edges to spot elephants, lions, and birdlife. If visiting during the wet season (Nov-Apr), look for flamingos and migratory herds.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Makgadikgadi National Park
MorningEarly start for a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s diverse areas, from riverine woodlands to open pans. Look for unique species like meerkats (if near a habituated colony) and brown hyenas.
